Conference summarizing the 3D Heritage project

The European Grouping of Territorial Cooperation TRITIA with together with the University of Žilina in Žilina organized a conference summarizing the project: "3D digitization of historical objects of the cross-border area SK-PL".

The project, which was co-financed by the Interreg V-A PL-SK 2014-2020 program, aimed to digitize 3D and create other interesting IT tools for the preservation, archiving and promotion of selected historical objects of the Polish-Slovak border.

During the conference historical objects from the areas of Poland and Slovakia were presented. The lectures on individual institutions were given by representatives of: Cieszyn Castle, the Castle Museum in Pszczyna, the Historical Museum in Bielsko-Biała - the Sułkowski Dukes' Castle, the Region Museum in Žilina, the Kysuce Museum in Czadca, the Orava Museum and the Orava Gallery in Dolny Kubin.

The second part of the conference, conducted by the project partner - the University of Žilina concerned presentations created within the framework of the IT tools project, aimed at digitizing particular historical objects.
